DG Enterprise hosts European forum on female entrepreneurship
The event will present findings from a recently published study that identifies national measures promoting female entrepreneurship in the EU and the countries from the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) participating in the European Economic Area (EEA) with a view to raising issues such as information gaps, lack of contacts and access to networking, gender discrimination, stereotypes and difficulties in reconciling business and family obligations.
Selected cases of good practices as well as Community actions will be presented during the day's proceedings.
The recently published study is part of the 'Best project', an initiative involving the European Commission, national administrations, professional organisations and support service providers, which aims to identify and evaluate national measures related to start-ups, information, advice, funding, training, mentoring and networks relative to the promotion of female entrepreneurship with a view to setting up good practices.For more information and to obtain a registration form, please contact:
