Event to address biodegradable and recyclable food packaging

Two EU funded thematic networks are organising a two day event on biodegradable and recyclable food and beverage packaging in Europe, to take place in Valencia, Spain on 23 and 24 April.

Four half-day seminars will explore the state of the art of current technology, give an overview of European research activities, present specific research projects and assess the effect of EU legislation on the adoption of eco-friendly packaging.

The seminars are aimed at all those involved in the field of eco-friendly packaging, including researchers, manufacturers and end users, as well as any others interested in the topic.

Speakers at the event will represent the two thematic networks, EcoPac and PackTech, as well as the European Commission and companies from the field.

The event is being organised by the Spanish technology institute for agrofood, the Danish Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University and the Swedish Institute for Food and Biotechnology.For further information, please contact:
