Austrian, German and Czech regions to discuss mechatronics cooperation

The cross border cooperation platform between Upper Austria, Lower Bavaria and Southern Bohemia is to add mechatronics to the areas in which the regions cooperate. An event to instigate the development of a network in the field will take place in Linz, Austria, on 27 March.
The aim of the platform is to develop long lasting cooperation between enterprises and research institutions from the three regions and to create networks around common research and development themes.
The event will involve presentations on the different scientific mechatronics competences in Upper Austria, Lower Bavaria and Southern Bohemia. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet with representatives from enterprises and research institutions.
