A half day seminar entitled 'robust design - practical application for the 21st Century' will be held in Limerick, Ireland, on 19 March.

The event is supported by the 15 partner EURobust project, an initiative supported through the Commission's Fifth Framework Programme. It will provide an opportunity to meet practitioners from leading European companies and learn how robust design techniques provide a more efficient, cost effective way to improve products and processes.

Speakers at the event will include representatives from IVF Carl Zeiss, Volvo Trucks, AMT Ireland, the University of Limerick and Boston Scientific Europe.

Among the planned activities will be the opportunity to learn about the early phases of robust design methodology and plans to help managers implement robust design technology into their companies with the minimum amount of disruption.

The event is free of charge for representatives from European organisations interested in this novel field of design. It will be relevant to a wide range of bodies from small and medium sized enterprises to multinationals, industry support organisations, academics and researchers.For further information, please contact:
