International conference on dietary fibre

A conference on dietary fibre, integrating basic nutritional science with food technology, product development, analysis, and legal aspects will take place in Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands from 18 to 21 May.

Subjects for discussion will include:
- science, consumer views and industry perspectives;
- dietary fibre and health promotion: cancer;
- dietary fibre, intestinal flora and health promotion: cardio vascular diseases;
- obesity and diabetes;
- cereal products with enhanced health benefits - research needs and opportunities.
