Ethics as a dimension of agrifood policy: EurSafe Congress

The fourth congress of the European society for agricultural and food ethics (EurSafe) will take place in Toulouse, France, from 20 to 22 March.
The theme of the congress is the ethical dimension of agrifood policies, and will be tackled through a series of plenary discussions by social scientists, philosophers and policy makers.
To complement discussions at the event, 64 submitted papers have been selected on topics such as animal bioethics, property rights, and ethics and public debate. Workshops will also be held on teaching bioethics, economy and ethics, and creativity in ethics.
Organisers hope that by addressing economic and technical developments in the agrifood sector in relation to European and international policy, the congress will contribute to developing the agenda for agrifood policies, including the ethical dimension.For further information, please consult the following web address:
