The WEBHOSTS international conference will take place in Brussels on 1 April.

WEBHOSTS is a collaborative project funded under the IST programme of the Commission's Fifth Framework Programme, and its objective is to survey the European web hosting market with a particular focus on small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

Questionnaires were sent out to over 11,000 SMEs in 22 European countries, and the results have now been collated. Dissemination will take place through four national events.

The Brussels event seeks to present the results of the survey to representatives of the European Commission, Member State delegations, and professional organisations.

The agenda will include:
- a presentation of the results of the survey;
- a presentation of a developed hosting business model;
- a report on the national conferences, including reactions, comments and suggestions;
- the submission of a set of recommendations to accelerate the use of the Internet and related services by SMEs in order to develop their business.For further information, please contact:
