Workshop: IST in FP6 - new challenge for the Baltic States

The Telebalt project, with funding from the European Commission, is organising a workshop from 2 to 3 April to look at the challenges faced by the Baltic States in participating in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).
The main aim of the event is to increase awareness of FP6 within the Baltic States, and strengthen scientific and technological cooperation between the EU and pre-accession countries.
The workshop is targeted towards policy makers, technology companies, research institutes, tourism boards and other interested parties.
Keynote presentations will be given by, among others, the Latvian Minister of the Economy Juris Lujans, former Prime Minister of Latvia Andris Berzins, and Dr Jacques Babot from the European Commission.For further information, please consult the following web address:
