Conference on the provision of cross-media services

The CONTESSA project consortium, with support from the European Commission, is organising an international conference on cross-media service delivery (CMSD), to take place on the Greek island of Santorini on 30 and 31 May.
The CMSD event is aimed at researchers, technical experts, electronic media publishers, digital content providers, e-business companies and software developers. Senior representatives from the European Commission and CEOs from key industries will also be present.
Key issues for discussion will include: cross-platform delivery systems; media-industry business models; security and intellectual property rights of multimedia content; convergence of content delivery platforms; and digital content validity and protection.
Also on the conference agenda will be the CMSD activities within the upcoming second call for proposals for the information society technologies section of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). Participants will have the opportunity to meet potential future partners and exchange ideas for project proposals in these areas.For further information, please consult the following web address:
