Puntoit is organising a workshop with the title 'Access to content in the era of broadband, 3G and digital tv - do we need new rules?', to take place on 15 May at the European Parliament in Brussels.

The event will bring together representatives from content providers, broadcasters, telecom operators, manufacturers and EU institutions to look at whether new measures governing consumer access to content are needed.

The workshop will address two key questions in particular:
- How can the availability of content be maximised within the framework of the single market?
- How can competition rules serve to resolve access to content issues, and deal with the question of protecting intellectual property rights in the context of ever evolving capabilities?For further information, please consult the following web address:
