Students invited to participate in European awards for innovation

The European awards for innovation will take place during the annual Innovact event, from 30 September to 2 October in Reims, France.
The aim of the award is to single out the best European innovation project in terms of development, growth and employment. The competition is open to students from European universities and higher education institutes similar to France's prestigious 'grandes écoles'.
Projects related to the development of an industrial product or service for the self-employed or enterprises are eligible for participation. Furthermore, projects that have already been launched or are in the process of development can be submitted.
The winner(s) of the competition will be awarded with the sum of 1,500 euro and the winning project will receive media coverage by a reputable French magazine.
The jury presiding over the awards ceremony will include European Commissioner for Research, Philippe Busquin, and French Minister for Research, Claudie Haigneré.
Also taking place during the Innovact conference are a number of activities aimed at helping enterprise and innovation projects, as well as companies, resolve financial, technological and sales issues.For further information, please consult the following web address:
