The 12th meeting of the Norwegian research and innovation forum, entitled 'challenges for sustainable energy policy - can R&D deliver?', will take place on 22 and 23 May in Brussels.

The event has three main aims: to shed light on how the scientific priorities of the European Research Area (ERA) can be exploited to foster synergies within the energy services markets; to highlight current trends and developments in sustainable energy; and to discuss how energy technologies can make sustainable contributions to improving the security and sustainability of the European energy market.

Key actors from the EU, international organisations and Norway will help to facilitate the discussions, and the forum chairperson will be Ambassador Bjørn T. Grydeland from the Norwegian Mission to the EU.For further information, please contact:
