Project results and future collaboration - sustainable urban tourism conference

Researchers working in sustainable tourism are invited to attend the 'SUT-Governance' project conference, to take place in Heidelberg, Germany, on 23 and 24 June, to discuss collaboration under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).
The SUT (sustainable urban tourism) Governance project is funded under the Fifth Framework Programme's Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development programme and aims to elaborate and promote innovative forms and instruments of local governance to improve urban tourism development involving the principles of sustainability and participatory decision-making.
The event will bring together experts in urban tourism, project members, partner cities, policymakers, private sector representatives, non-profit groups and Commission officials hoping to bridge science and practice in governance for sustainable urban tourism.For further information, please visit:
