12th EBN congress on 'relaunching the entrepreneurial spirit in Europe'

The European network of business and innovation centres (EBN) will hold its 12th congress from 18 to 21 June in Lyon, France.

The theme of this year's congress is seeking ways of 'relaunching the entrepreneurial spirit in Europe'. To achieve this, the congress will bring together corporate managers, innovative entrepreneurs, national and regional policy-makers, business support structures, academics, and representatives from European institutions and public bodies to discuss the following items:

- the role of the State and public sectors; the necessity of reducing taxation and making the labour market more flexible;
- the necessity of increasing women's participation in enterprise creation;
- the role of training and educational systems in promoting entrepreneurship;
- strengthening the visibility, coherence and performance of entrepreneurship support structures;
- improving the image of entrepreneurship;
- emphasising the various forms of expressing the entrepreneurial spirit.
