Potential proposers meet to prepare for second IST call - Athens

An international event on Information Society Technologies (IST) will take place on 2 June, in Athens, Greece.
The event will aim to prepare participants for the forthcoming second call for proposals under the IST programme of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). To this end, representatives from the European Commission will be present to give an introduction to the call.
Sessions will follow, addressing the issues of networking, partner searches and writing proposals. Participants will also have an opportunity to present their project ideas, and meet other potential proposers during the bilateral meetings.
Representatives of the EU funded Ideal-IST network, will support the sessions in order to help the participants form consortia for proposal submissions within the IST framework.
The event will be organised by the Greek IST national contact point (NCP), in collaboration with the Greek General Secretariat for research and technology. It will also receive support from the Commission's DG Information Society.For further information, please consult the following web address:
