Workshop discusses nuclear data for the transmutation of nuclear waste

A workshop on nuclear data for the transmutation of nuclear waste will take place from 1 to 5 September, in Darmstadt, Germany.
The workshop will mark the end of the EU funded project on the subject of 'high and intermediate energy nuclear data for accelerator-driven system' (HINDAS). Discussions will focus on the results of the HINDAS project, as well as issues relating to the general theme of the workshop.
Topics for discussion include:
- nuclear-reaction data;
- experimental facilities and methods;
- evaluated data and libraries;
- modelling of nuclear reactions;
