Commission organises information day on IST mobile objective

An information and networking day on the 'applications and services for the mobile user and worker' will take place on 26 June in Brussels.
'Applications and services for the mobile user and worker' is one of the strategic objectives of the Sixth Framework Programme's information society technologies (IST) programme.
In preparation for the forthcoming second call, the event will highlight some key challenges in the area of user-oriented applications and services for people on the move.
In a special session on the strategic objective, Commission representatives will present some general guidelines concerning proposal preparation and evaluation procedures. Participants will also have an opportunity to exchange ideas for proposals and expressions of interest during the afternoon networking session.
