Brussels workshop on FP6 roadmap projects

A workshop on the Sixth Framework Programme's roadmap projects on socio economic aspects and sustainable development will take place on 18 June in Brussels.
In 2002, some 25 roadmap projects were launched under the Key Action 'Methods of Work and Electronic Commerce' in the information society technologies (IST) programme with a view to preparing the ground for research initiatives in FP6, using the new instruments of integrated Projects (IP) and Networks of excellence (NoE).
The workshop will explore the results of these projects and will assess future IST research challenges. It is expected that the workshop will help formulate strategies and proposals to be suggested for inclusion in the work programme for 2005/2006.
The workshop is being organised by the New Working Environments unit of the European Commission's Information Society DG.For further information, please visit the following web address:
