An international brokerage event on information and communications technology (ICT) will take place on 15 July in Trieste, Italy.
'TriCo Trieste 2003' is aimed at fostering scientific and industrial cooperation in the ICT sector within the context of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6 ). The main focus will be on topics specific to the second call of FP6's information society technologies (IST) programme. These include:
- open development platforms for software and services;
-cognitive systems;
-application and services for the mobile user and worker.
Presentations will also focus on researcher mobility and university cooperation initiatives.
