Conference on small firms' strategy for innovation and regional problems

The Portuguese higher institute of technology is organising an international conference entitled 'small firms' strategy for innovation and regional problems' to be held on 4 and 5 December in Algarve, Portugal.
The event will bring together three major EU funded projects, including INNOVALOC, and will assess issues such as innovation in small firms and local development, the future of Europe's rural periphery and regional adjustment strategies for technological advance.
The coordinators of the three projects involved will present their final results, and the organisers are welcoming the submission of papers, which will be used as the basis for discussions during the conference.For further information, please contact:
