A European conference on financing innovation will take place on 11 and 12 September in Östersund, Sweden.
The main focus of the conference will be examples of bottom-up regional initiatives that have succeeded in bringing together business angels and professional venture capital.
The conference is divided into three topical sessions:
- experiences of regional development and financing policy for innovations: measures at national and regional level including business angel activities;
- integrated systems, division of roles and meeting points for government and private players;
- combinations of regional actors in financing innovation.
