Italian Presidency to host conference on international mobility

Adding to the activities taking place under the Italian Presidency of the EU is the conference 'International mobility: present situation and future prospects' due to take place on 13 to 14 October in Trieste, Italy, and organised by AREA science park.

The event will provide experts, students, teachers and researchers with an opportunity to discuss mobility in the context of creating a European area of knowledge and a European Research Area.

The main topics of the conference will be:
- academia-industry relations;
- European mobility programmes;
- mobility of researchers;
- cultural aspects: reception policies.
