Information day on research funding opportunities

An information day on the funding opportunities available at national and European level for health research will take place on 24 September in Rome, Italy.
The event will focus primarily on the financial instruments and programmes of the European Commission. In particular, participants will be brought up to date with the provisions made in the forthcoming second call for proposals for priority one 'Life sciences, genomics and biotechnology for health' of the Six Framework Programme, as well as the results for the first call in this area.
Representatives from regional and national financing agencies will also present and will provide an overview of the funding possibilities at regional and national level.
The information day is being organised by the Roman University 'La Sapienza', in collaboration with the European Commission and the Italian agency for the promotion of research (APRE).For further information, please visit:
