An information day on regional innovation strategies in associated countries will take place on 17 October in Piatra Neamt, Romania.
The main aim of the event is to provide an overview of the mechanics of regional innovation strategies. A number of case studies will be presented during the event, focusing on the added value of regional innovation strategies for regional development.
In addition, a representative from the European Commission's Enterprise Directorate General will present a summary of the EU's regional innovation policy and a summary of the forthcoming call for projects related to regional innovation strategies in associated countries under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).
