Bibliometric analysis in science and research: applications, benefits and limitations

An international conference on bibliometric analysis in science and research will take place from 5 to 7 November in Jülich, Germany.

Bibliometry serves to obtain performance indicators, thus generating a field of tension between all disciplines of research, information science, science management and research policy.
