Prodi and Cox to attend EESC conference on Lisbon process
Commission President Romano Prodi and European Parliament President Pat Cox will address the conference, which is intended to evaluate progress towards the Lisbon target of making Europe the world's most competitive economy by 2010. The event is also expected to result in practical proposals to the EU institutions on how to achieve the goals.
