A conference on medical technology transfer and partnerships, focusing on medical and surgical instruments, medical imaging and informatics, and disposables, will take place in Amsterdam on 17-18 March 1994.

The "European Medical Technology Exchange" allows participants to concentrate, in two working days, on targeted contacts with potential partners throughout Europe. These participants are either medical companies or medical institutions, laboratories or RTD centres from European countries.

From the technologies offered, a careful selection will be made of high-quality examples demonstrating clear commercial potential (evaluations will be made by experts under a secrecy agreement). Some fifty technology suppliers will be selected to present the results of their research.

Several workshops will be held on selected themes. At the same time, individual meetings will be organized, based on the offers and demands submitted. The aim of the event is to aid the participants to establish strategic contacts and networks within a short period of time.

The Technology Exchange is organized by the Innovatiecentrum Network (Netherlands) in cooperation with ANVAR (France) and is supported by the Strategic Programme for Innovation and Technology Transfer in Europe (SPRINT).
