The Italian region of Emilia-Romagna will host an information day on sustainable surface transport and the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) in Bologna on 20 November.
Topics for discussion at the event will include: demand management; sustainable city and transport planning; freight management; environmentally friendly and competitive transport systems; new technologies; safer design and production techniques; and rebalancing and integrating different transport modes.
