Challenges to European competitiveness

A European Commission conference on challenges to European competitiveness will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 9 December.

Policy responses to get Europe back on the Lisbon track will be debated at the conference, which is to be attended by both Enterprise and Information Society Commissioner Erkki Liikanen, and Director General of the Enterprise DG, Jean-Paul Mingasson. Panel sessions will focus on Europe's competitiveness performance in recent years, and a sectoral approach to improving competitiveness.For further information, please consult the following web address:
