A conference on 'early stage researcher mobility in Europe: meeting the challenges and promoting best practice' will take place in Lisbon, Portugal, from 25 to 27 February 2004.

The event is designed to promote good practice at all levels on the facilitation of mobility among young researchers.

The conference will provide a forum for the exchange of experiences and for discussions on how to overcome existing obstacles to mobility. A large number of young researchers will attend to talk about their own experiences and to present their ideas on how to improve the current situation. They will be able to offer feedback to policymakers, administrators and representatives from funding agencies participating in the event.

Hosted by the Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, the conference is jointly organised by Euroscience, the Marie Curie Fellowship Association, Eurodoc and PI-net.For further information, please consult the following web address: http://www.mariecurie.org/esrm2004(opens in new window)
