Conference on the attractiveness of science careers

Organised by ASPERT and the association for women in science, a conference on 'the attractiveness of the scientific and technical sectors' will take place on 9 and 10 January 2004 in Paris, France.

The first day of activities will analyse the disaffection of young people towards science careers by gathering the views of early career scientists towards changes in educational courses and the public research sector.

The second day will attempt to explain the origins of such disaffection, with reference to concrete examples and investigation.For further information, please consult the following web address:
