The culture of science
The event will look at how science and scientists are represented in different cultural strands, from white coats and wild hair to the slick corporate imagery used in business.
Leading speakers will explore how scientific companies or institutes use science to endorse and sell their products, through such means as their logos, their advertising and the design of their websites.
