Research on Industrial Technologies: BRITE/EURAM Conference
The first day of the event will include the inauguration of the Exhibition and a conference-debate on "Production technologies for the industries of the future, and for the conception and design of the products of the future".
A series of workshops will take place in parallel sessions on the following days. Topics cover:
- Materials;
- The CRAFT programme;
- Design;
- Manufacturing;
- Testing and Measurement;
- Steel;
- The products of the future;
- Transport and propulsion;
- Standardization;
- The factory of the future;
- RTD and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the CRAFT programme;
- RTD networks and coordination in Europe.
Plenary sessions at the Conference will include:
- Evaluation and valorization;
- The new Industrial Technologies programme under the Fourth Framework Programme;
- RTD in industrial technologies (perspectives for the future).
In addition, significant results obtained in the BRITE/EURAM programme will be presented, and a round-table discussion will consider the conclusions of the specialized workshops.
