The association of European science and technology transfer professionals (ASTP) will hold a conference on 'best practices in transfer of science and technology' in Budapest, Hungary, on 27 and 28 May.

The event will address the following themes:
- licensing;
- early stage funding for start-ups;
- technology transfer models, including outsourcing and incubators;
- conflicts of interest;
- nanotechnology, and how it will revolutionise this century;
- stock markets, capital liquidity, late stage financing.

The event is expected to attract around 150 people involved in technology transfer from across Europe and beyond.For further information, please consult the following web address:
