Commission organises Entrepreneurship Day

The Enterprise Directorate-General of the European Commission is organising an Entrepreneurship Day conference, to take place on 2 March in Brussels, Belgium.
Entrepreneurial activity is vital for boosting competitiveness, innovation, growth and employment, but within the EU there are still far too few entrepreneurs. The EU will encourage such activities and provide a comprehensive framework for future initiatives through its Entrepreneurship Action Plan.
With the involvement of key figures such as the Commissioner for Enterprise and the Information Society, Erkki Liikanen, representatives from Member States, business organisations and entrepreneurs themselves, the event will aim to discuss and define Europe's future agenda for entrepreneurship.For further information, please consult the following web address:
