The European regional information society association (eris@) will hold a workshop on 'eCommunities in an enlarged Europe' in Prague, the Czech Republic, on 12 March.

The workshop is being organised as part of the PRELUDE project, an accompanying measure to the information society technologies (IST) programme, funded by the European Commission. The project has been working towards the establishment of a series of thematic guides to policy and good practice in the fields of e-government, e-learning, e-transport and e-communities/e-inclusion.

The aim of the workshop is to consolidate the consortium, shape a future project proposal and to prepare a time line for future collaboration. The first draft of the guide on e-communities will also be presented.For further information, please consult the following web address:
