Workshop on sensors for security

A workshop and exhibition on 'sensors for security' will take place at the Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra, Italy, on 14 and 15 June.

The event will focus on the application of sensor technology in two key security areas - safety in the food chain and the detection of explosive material.

Topics for discussion will include: electronic noses; chemical sensors; biosensors; nanosensors; radar sensors; multi-sensor systems and distributed sensors networks.For further information, please consult the following web address:
