Slovenian parliament to host conference on science and society

The Slovenian parliament in Ljubljana will host a conference on science and society in an enlarged EU on 15 April.
The event has been organised in order to celebrate Slovenia's accession to the EU. The conference will highlight the importance of science and knowledge for development and stability in the enlarged EU.
The conference will also present the ongoing project ETHNIC - raising public awareness of science and technology among ethnic minorities - funded under the EU's Fifth Framework Programme (FP5).
Virtual participation, with the submission of real time e-mail contributions is encouraged, and web broadcasting will make it possible to follow the discussions in Ljubljana.For further information, please visit:
