UK information day on third life sciences and biotechnology call for proposals

The UK's Department of Trade and Industry, together with the Medical Research Council, are organising an event to coincide with the launch of the third call for proposals under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), for the 'life sciences, genomics and biotechnology for health' thematic priority. The event will take place in London on 16 June.
The event will present the views of UK industry and experienced EU project evaluators and participants. Discussions will focus on the opportunities outlined in the new work programme, what makes a good proposal, lessons learned from the previous call, partner searching, and how small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) can participate.
The event will also address other areas of potential interest to bioscientists, such as the 'new and emerging science and technology' (NEST) programme and Marie Curie Fellowships.For further information, please visit:
