Energy symposium on the links between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council

A conference entitled "Energy: the link between the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in a changing world" will be held in Muscat, Oman on 19-20 April 1994. It is sponsored by DG XVII of the European Commission in conjunction with the GCC.
The issues which affect the energy industry in the Gulf states will be addressed, as well as how the EU relates to these developments.
The meeting will be chaired by Mr C. S. Manianthopoulos, DG XVII (Directorate-General for Energy) and will include a number of speeches from Commission officials.
