Conference on cooperation with universities

Coordination between universities, industry and governmental bodies at the regional, national and European level will be the focus of a Deans' European Academic Network (DEAN) conference in Porto, Portugal from 26 to 28 September.
The focus of the conference will be the role that European universities have in reaching the Lisbon objective of making Europe the world's most competitive knowledge-based economy by 2010.
EU Research Commissioner Philippe Busquin will open the conference, and keynote addresses will be made from high level speakers from the European institutions, as well as from the private sector and higher education institutes.For further information, please consult the following web address:
