The Association of European science and technology transfer professionals' (ASTP) annual seminar will take place on 14 and 15 October in Lisbon, Portugal, and will focus on 'creating business out of science'.
Some 150 technology transfer professionals will hear expert speakers from Europe and the US address issues such as spin outs, and partnerships with industry, while plenary sessions will cover:
- the importance of technology transfer;
- why don't companies take more advantage of university expertise and technology?
