A workshop on energy and environmental aspects and technologies for aluminium recycling will take place in Athens on 5 April 1994.
The workshop is being organized as part of the THERMIE programme through the OPET network and is intended to:
- Promote the energy and environmental benefits of aluminium recycling;
- Increase awareness and the exchange of information and experience on aluminium recycling;
- Identify the barriers to aluminium recycling and the development of efficient strategies.
The workshop is intended for representatives of manufacturing industries dealing with aluminium recycling, financial institutions, industrial associations as well as universities and research institutions.
