Launch event for IST LIAISON project

The launch event for the LIAISON Integrated Project, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), will take place in Toulouse, France, on 1 September.

The project will focus on location and mobility services, and will enhance LBS technologies and existing applications ready for the mass market. LIAISON will also make use of EGNOS, the European geostationary navigation overlay service and Galileo, Europe's future satellite navigation system.
