A conference on the "Management of Collaborative European Programmes and Projects in Research, Education and Training" will take place in Oxford University (UK) on 10-13 April 1994.
The conference is designed to stimulate a wide-ranging and high-level exchange of European experience in the management of collaborative programmes in research, education and training. In view of the proximity of the Fourth Framework Programme and the new generation of specific programmes, the conference is dedicated to highlighting the best available information on the subject of collaborative research.
This conference will examine the nature and performance of the systems for implementing and running international programmes and projects in research, education and training at the European, national, regional, sectoral and institutional level.
The contribution which policy makers have to make to the development of efficient research procedures will be examined in detail, as will the policies, systems, strategies and practices used in the management of collaborative European research.
Contributors to the plenary sessions will include a wide selection of experts from research, training and educational establishment throughout Europe, in addition to speakers from Directorates-General XII and XIII and the "Task Force Human Resources" (TFHR) of the European Commission.
