B4E conference to launch European construction technology platform

A conference to launch a Technology Platform in the field of European construction technology will take place in Maastricht, the Netherlands, on 14 and 15 October.
Entitled 'Building for a European future', the conference will bring together all stakeholders concerned with the future of European construction research. The event will see a debate on the goals and objectives of the sector, and will aim to define the steps needed in the coming decade to create an innovative, competitive and successful industry. Participants will also discuss the work of E-CORE, a thematic network funded under the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5).
