A workshop on the integration of knowledge, semantics and digital media technology will take place in London, the UK, on 25 and 26 November. The event is co-sponsored by the European Commission.
The event will comprise two one-day workshops. The first, the technical symposium, will feature selected oral and poster contributions from those working in information society technologies (IST).
The second day will comprise an 'EU IST symposium' featuring a keynote address form a Commission representative on the integration of knowledge, content and semantics as part of the IST vision for the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). It will also play host to the launch of the revised work programme for the fourth and fifth calls of FP6 and two panel sessions with prominent researchers and key players in the field.For further information, please consult the following web address:
