Complex systems conference to bring together IST projects

A conference on complex systems will take place in Turin, Italy, from 5 to 8 December.
The event will bring together all the projects funded within the complex systems initiative of the 'future and emerging technologies' section of the Information Society Technologies (IST) component of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6). The conference is also open to other scientists working on complex systems.
The programme will feature talks on biology, physics, the social sciences, mathematics and computer science, and from the field of application, particularly in information technology (IT). Individual sessions on complex biosystems, the emergence of coordinated behaviour, complex system ideas in networks and interdisciplinary complex systems will also take place.
