Commission to participate in FOODtechexpo

The European Commission is to participate in FOODtechexpo, a conference on EU food standards, legislation, health and safety and research taking place in Warsaw, Poland, on 8 and 9 December.

The event will also serve as a networking platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between food manufacturers from across Europe.

The Commission's Research DG will participate in the 'New Europe, new markets, new foods' session, explaining how the EU supports research in the agro-food area through the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).For further information, please consult the following web address:
