Learn how to communicate projects and results at IST 2004

Communicating work in progress and interesting results from EU-funded research projects can be a difficult and time-consuming process, and project consortia do not always have the resources to do this as effectively as they would like. A networking session on 16 November at the IST2004 event in The Hague, the Netherlands, aims to provide projects and dissemination partners with some practical help.
'Communicating IST Projects & Results to the Marketplace, Media & Society: Expert advice & insights' is organised jointly by CORDIS and the IST Results service, and will offer participants advice on effective ways of communicating with the media, technology users and investors, as well as an opportunity to share useful contacts and marketing resources.
Participants can put their questions in a roundtable discussion to expert practitioners from the Tornado Insider magazine, a leading publication for European entrepreneurs and investors, and Alphagalileo, a key resource for European research news, as well as communications experts from IST Results, CORDIS, EurActiv and TESEO, all of whom have considerable experience supporting IST projects' dissemination activities.Interested participants can subscribe to the session (free of charge) and get more information on the full programme from the Networking Programme area of the IST2004 website:
